Our client have established themselves at the forefront of the specialist civil engineering sectors, RC Frame/Groundworks. A company that has a current turnover of £100m, they are fast becoming one of the most respected and well known sub contractors in the region. They work on packages ranging from £1m to £20m within RC Frame and Groundworks.
About the role
The key elements to this role is To Promote, Advise, Train, Consult on all aspects of Health and safety and environmental issues within a construction company environment.
Main responsibilities are to advise management on the prevention of injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipment, improvement in existing working methods, Legal requirements affecting health, safety and welfare and the adequacy of facilities provided. Advise upon the production of written method statements and site safety rules and on the arrangements to bring these to the attention of the workforce (at specified projects).
