Site Engineer

We are looking to recruit an experienced Tunnel Site Engineer to provide site engineering duties on a major tunnelling project in London. You will establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works, as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.

Previous experience of setting out on civil engineering projects including deep shafts and tunnels will be required.

The successful candidate will have:

• Sound knowledge of construction methods, health, safety and legal regulations
• Be fully conversant with the use of robotic total station instruments
• Some experience of AutoCAD
• Temporary- works co-ordination is beneficial
• Previous experience in deep excavations and segmental tunnel construction
• Candidates will be degree qualified in Civil Engineering or HNC (or equivalent), as a minimum.

The following is also required:

• CSCS card is mandatory
• Cable avoidance training
• First aid training
• NEBOSH or IOSH is desirable
• Confined Space trained
