Buyer - Residential Construction

CLIENT

My client is a reputable ‘Residential’ developer, operating in the UK over the last couple of decades, growing their brand & portfolio to becoming an extremely successful privately owned company.

Due to their continuous growth they are now looking to invest in an additional experienced Buyer to join their Lancashire offices covering the North West region. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong business acumen combined with the creativity & vision to meet the needs of the business.

You need to be a reliable & committed individual with a keen eye for detail and strong proven experience in a buying role for the residential construction sector.

KEY REQUIREMENTS…

• Past experience in a Construction related Buyer position – ideally a minimum of 3 years exp.
• Experience with New Build Spec Housing - Essential
• Experience working with varied Residential New Build projects – Highly Advantageous

ABOUT YOU…

• Proven experience buying for the above mentioned project types.
• Excellent organisational & interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel confidently & professionally.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word & Outlook
• Ability to prioritise and work flexibly to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines along with the ability to use initiative and problem solve.
• Ability to objectively evaluate & assess a situation before deciding on the appropriate course of action.
• Ability to deal tactfully with sensitive or confidential information
• An excellent team player, showing flexibility and a responsive attitude to team/individual tasks.
