Technical Standards Manager

CLIENT/ROLE

Very successful & established Housebuilder with National coverage. Building private & affordable homes for themselves & also taking on developments for partnership projects.

To be based out of their Head Offices in Warrington, this client is looking to invest in a Technical Standards Manager to join their workforce on a permanent basis, covering projects in the Manchester, Liverpool & Wolverhampton areas. You will be highly motivated, be passionate about your job & have a drive to succeed.

The role will be very similar to that of a Clerk of Works / Building Inspector, so coming from that type of employment would suit – Alternatively this client has specified they are willing to invest in the right individual & carry out extensive training, so could potentially suit someone from an ASM/SM or similar position who’s looking for a career change within the construction industry.

Example of duties:

• Carrying out various site specific risk assessments in line with CDM regulations, relating to the construction and building of the plant
• Completing HAZID and HAZOP analysis
• Initiating and developing any supporting work instructions
• Enhancing best practice across the various sites

ABOUT YOU

-CSCS Card holder

-Previous experience in a similar role - preferred

-Ideally educated to HNC/HND level or Degree equivalent

-Experience in a Residential background will certainly be an advantage

-Experience with Social Housing projects would also be beneficial

-Dealing with varied ‘New Build’ projects would again be beneficial but not essential.

-At least 2 checkable work references will need to be provided if you decide to pursue your application.
